2. Applicability
These terms and conditions apply to all reservations, bookings and visits to House of Racing B.V., both through the online reservation system and when booking directly on location. By making a reservation or entering the venue, the visitor agrees to these terms and conditions.
3. Access and age
The minimum age for participation is 12 years old. Persons under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. House of Racing reserves the right to verify age and refuse participation if in doubt. The minimum height for participation is 145 cm.
4. Reservation and payment
- Bookings can be made up to 6 months in advance.
- Customer is expected at House of Racing location at least 10 minutes prior to booking.
- Reservations through the online booking system must be paid directly through Stripe.
- Payment on site is only possible by debit card payment and without prior sim reservation.
- A booking is not final until payment or on-site confirmation is received.
- House of Racing reserves the right to cancel a booking at any time. Customer will receive a refund of his/her payment in this case.
5. Cancellation and no-show
- No-cost cancellations can be made up to 48 hours before the start of the booked session, by email to info@houseofracing.nl
- In the event of a no-show or late cancellation, fees will not be credited.
- If arriving late, the lost time will be deducted from the booked session, with no right to a refund.
6. Medical restrictions and use at your own risk
- Participation in sim racing is entirely at your own risk.
- The use of our simulators is not suitable for persons with certain medical conditions, such as epilepsy, severe heart disease, balance disorders or pregnancy.
- When in doubt, always consult a physician beforehand. House of Racing is not liable for any damages or injuries resulting from participation.
7. Liability
- Participants are fully responsible for damage they cause intentionally or through careless behavior to House of Racing equipment or property.
- House of Racing is not liable for damage to personal property or injury incurred during or as a result of the visit.
8. Images
House of Racing reserves the right to take image and video footage during activities and events, and use it for promotional purposes on social media, website or other channels. By participating, the visitor gives tacit consent unless express prior objection is made. Furthermore, recording footage is used to ensure maximum security
9. Conduct and order
- It is not permitted to participate under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- House of Racing reserves the right to deny admission without refund in the event of misconduct or violation of house rules.
- Smoking is not allowed inside the venue.
- Drinking and food consumption is not allowed in and around the chair and during participation in the activity.
10. Force majeure and cancellation by House of Racing.
In the event of force majeure, technical failure or other unforeseen circumstances, House of Racing may reschedule or cancel a reservation. In that case, the amount paid will be refunded or an alternative date will be offered. Further liability is excluded.
